Highways of Passaic County, New Jersey

County Road 625

Passaic County Road 625 is Lexington Avenue in Passaic and Clifton. At one time, particularly in the 1930s and ’40s, this highway may have been signed as part of NJ 3, although it was likely maintained by Passaic County even then.

Prior to the completion of NJ 21, Lexington Avenue ran directly into US 46; the service road along US 46 in Clifton is still known as Lexington Avenue.

Today, the first several blocks of Lexington Avenue, up to Hoover Avenue, are one-way northbound.
