Rutherford National at Section Tournament in Hoboken, 2007
After a rainstorm an hour ahead of Rutherford National’s second-round game against Palisades Park/Leonia Wednesday 18-Jul, the team loosens up as a rainbow crowns the Manhattan skyline.
The team warms up on Hoboken’s William Fesken Memorial Field, which is all artificial turf except for the pitcher’s mound.
Rutherford fans turn out to support their team.
The second victory is in the books! Rutherford National had defeated Nutley American, 11-0, the day before.
One out to go in the championship game Friday 18-Jul, also against Palisades Park/Leonia.
They are the champions ... of Section 2. The team poses on the field with their section title banner.
