County Road 48

Bergen County Road 48 is the Bergen County section of Fairview Avenue, which runs from the Boulevard East in North Bergen to Broad Avenue in Fairview.

The road was included in the 1959 primary route proposal, and on at least one road map in my possession, it is marked as CR 16.

County Road S-48

Bergen County Road S-48 is Bergenwood Road, which starts from the Boulevard in North Bergen and runs to Fairview Avenue. It’s a county road because it allows a connection that otherwise would be impossible, given the fact that Fairview Avenue runs underneath Bergen Boulevard.
