Anderson Memorial Stadium

Entrance to Anderson Memorial Stadium, Aug-2006.

The seating bowl here consists of a simple amphitheater flanked by a press box and concession area.

From left field, a look across toward the scoreboard.

Quick Facts:
Memorial Stadium is a simple amphitheater built for the local American Legion team, which still plays here. The South Atlantic League came in here twice, but quickly left town each time. An independent entry used the field one year as well, but the league folded before it they could play a second season.

I was not able to get into Memorial Stadium on my 2006 visit.
