In recent years, the facility has been upgraded so that it contains batting practice areas and a bullpen pitching alley. To do this, the bleachers along the third-base side were removed. All spectators now sit on the first-base side or in the outfield. A slightly smaller field used primarily for younger players sits adjacent to this field. The Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club was built to the north, and foul balls hit by lefthanded batters are prone to sailing into the drink.

Prior to the 2006 season, the Hasbrouck Heights Little League dedicated the previously unnamed field (commonly known as “Ravine Avenue Field” for its location) to Louis Inserra, of the Inserra Supermarkets chain. The marketer, who had a location half a mile from the field until the mid-2000s, continues to make generous donations to this and other Little Leagues in southern Bergen County.

The field itself is one of the shortest Little League fields in the area, with fence distances ranging from 175 to 185 feet. Right-of-way issues involving the state highway may preclude the local league from lengthening the distances.

A worthy addition for the 2014 season was a scoreboard with nine-inning line score and programmable team names, replacing an electro-mechanical model dating to the 1970s.
