Lurker Park

Entrance to Lurker Park, Apr-2016.

Looking in from down the first-base line.

The view from behind the plate.

Quick Facts:
Lurker Park is in a low-lying area of the township of East Hanover in Morris County. The Troy Brook, Whippany River, and Rockaway River all flow into the Passaic River nearby.

The park has been in use since at least the 1970s, if not earlier. American Legion tournaments were held here in the 1970s and ’80s. I saw one youth travel game here many years later, and then returned a decade after that to take these photos.
