Quick Facts:
This field in Mason City, a town better known as the home of playwright Meredith Willson (“The Music Man”), was used for one season of professional baseball. The Great Central League, which also featured teams in southern Minnesota, came here and played one summer. Mason City is about 25 miles from the Minnesota state line.

Today, Mason City High School continues to use the field, along with a local community college.
