Azalea Bowl

The entryway and existing press box at the Azalea Bowl, Aug-2012.

A peek in at the field from beyond the fence.

Quick Facts:
While there is no more stadium structure, the Azalea Bowl field still exists as a tribute to the then-Class D Florida State League and the days in which it played in smaller cities. The field sits adjacent to a state park and behind a National Guard armory, a dozen blocks south of the main drag.

I was unable to get into the Azalea Bowl on my 2012 visit.
