Rawlings Field

Main entrance to Rawlings Field on the Colorado State University-Pueblo campus, Oct-2008.

A look at the stands from shallow right field.

The view from behind the plate.

Quick Facts:
This handsome ballpark sits on the campus of Colorado State University-Pueblo (formerly the University of Southern Colorado, but there were too many schools known as USC already). The Texas-Louisiana League’s Pueblo Bighorns used the park for about half a season before folding.

To me, the only drawback is the configuration of the field itself, with artificial turf in the infield and grass in the outfield.
