Coral Seymour Memorial Ballpark

As with much of Alaska, entry is off a gravel lot, Jun-2019.

Peering in from the beer garden down the third-base line.

Quick Facts:
The Peninsula Oilers joined the Alaska Baseball League, the college summer loop, in 1976 and have had many of their alumni play in the major leagues.

The ballpark is unusual for the Alaska League in that it has no artificial turf. While most of the fields in the league have turf infields, Oiler Park, now named for former general manager Coral Seymour, continues to have a traditional dirt-and-grass infield.

As with a number of the other parks in Alaska, the seating arrangement is unusual. There are box seats directly behind the plate, grandstand seats flanking them, and bleacher seats down the lines, with no connection between the sections. Each level commands a different admission price, ranging from $5 to $8 in 2019.
