Alex Roque paced Springs to its Town Series-opening win as he pitched a three-hitter and belted a three-run homer, while Sam Ferretti drove in two more runs with a double. For the Elks, Gus Boisits had a solo homer and Billy Wilde got the other two hits, knocking in two runs.
