Mike Sgaramella belted a grand-slam home run in the first inning. Dennis Rogers went 3-for-3, Jim DelFino had a pair of doubles, and Jim Kelly and Sal Brancato added the Roadrunner cause in this slugfest. Gus Boisits, John Coughlin and Jay Scalley did the heavy hitting for Elks as each team picked up 10 hits.
