On Friday Rotary met Pastori in the wildest game to-date. Rotary scored 2 in the first and Pastori came back with 4. In the 5th Rotary tallied 6 times but Pastori came back with 4 runs to tie it. Then, in the bottom of the 6th, DeWayne “Mercury” Robinson stole the ball game by drawing a base on balls then stealing 2nd-3rd and home before a dazed Rotary infield. Jim Fugit and Eddie Burns shared the mound duties for Rotary and Mike Monaco and Johnny Boyle doing likewise for Pastori.
