After 43 seasons in the league, 42 as manager, Jeff Cassella retires and moves to Georgia, having managed 434 regular season victories and eight town championship teams. The Keller sponsorship is retired with him; the company had gone out of business a few years earlier. Boiling Spring Masonic Lodge returns as a Major Baseball sponsor, taking over the previous Keller team.
