Boiling Springs Savings Bank donates its third scoreboard to Rutherford Little League’s main field. The new board, again made by Electro-Mech, features solid-state control and display of up to 99 runs per side.
For the first time, teams of 8-year-olds enter a tournament in Lyndhurst. Rutherford American fights out of the loser’s bracket to claim the trophy.
