Quick Facts:
- Location: Bryan, Texas
- Opened: Before 1947 as Bomber Field
- Additional names: Travis Park (1960s); Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark (2010)
- Home team: Bryan Bombers, Lone Star League (1947-48); Bryan Bombers (1949), Sports (1950), East Texas League; Bryan Majors (2nd half of 1953), Indians (1st half of 1954), Big State League
- Capacity: 1,200 (approx.)
The current facility in Bryan stands on the site of a professional field used for parts of eight seasons in three leagues. The park was originally known as Bomber Field in honor of its occupant, a 101-game loser in 1947.
I have no idea what the seating capacity was in its professional days. The park is currently used for a team in the Texas Collegiate League.
