Quick Facts:
Mercy College dates to 1950, having been established by the Sisters of Mercy. The school now sponsors ten sports in NCAA Division II, four for men and six for women. Baseball uses the multi-purpose field between the school and the New York Central tracks that is primarily designed for soccer and lacrosse. At the time I visited in 2018, when the College of Mount St. Vincent borrowed the field for a doubleheader, the main grandstand was under renovation. There is no baseball-specific grandstand; fans typically bring lawn chairs and sit just outside the fences along the foul lines.
