This very attractive downtown stadium became the home of Winnipeg baseball in 1999, replacing Winnipeg Stadium, which was primarily a football field.

Fans walk up stairwells flanking home plate to reach the main concourse, which contains a single seating bowl. Luxury boxes and the press box shelter the back few rows.

The park contains the best variety of food concessions I have ever seen in a minor or independent league park. Almost as many different cuisines are represented as are ethnicities in the cosmopolitan city that hosts the park. One notable feature when the park opened was the right-field Chinese bistro (as they style it) called “Hu’s on First”. The space is still there, but it is now occupied by an Indian restaurant.
