The stadium consists solely of bleacher seating.

Quick Facts:
Westbran Stadium (the name comes both from its being on the west end of Brandon and Brandon’s location in western Manitoba, conveniently shortened to “West Man” by province residents) was constructed for a world youth sports tournament hosted in Manitoba in 1991.

For three years, the independent Prairie League had a team here. Today, the park is used by various amateur organizations, including the Expedition League, a college summer league mainly based in the northern Plains of the United States. When I arrived in 2005, a crew was getting the field ready for a game.
