Wilson Park

Looking in from center field at Wilson Park, Aug-2017.

A better look at the main grandstand.

A side view of the first-base bleacher.

Quick Facts:
I found Wilson Park by happenstance in 2017. I rode west on Curtola Parkway, past the west end of Interstate 780 (at Interstate 80, which runs north and south through town before heading east toward New Jersey), and here was the ball field, sitting across from Lake Dalwigk Park.

The nondescript facility has played host to a low-level independent league team for the last several years, along with a few other parks in the San Francisco Bay area. The league has held on in an area where indie ball has struggled in recent years, with the demise of the Golden League around 2010.

I was not able to get into Wilson Park on my 2017 visit.
