Rohnert Park Stadium

Exterior of Rohnert Park Stadium, Aug-2004.

Peering in from center field late in the afternoon, with the sun going down.

Quick Facts:
Rohnert Park Stadium was the home of the Western League’s most durable team, the Sonoma County Crushers. The club lasted for all eight seasons of the independent loop. Prior to this, the park saw six seasons of use in the California League, as the Santa Clara Padres moved here in 1980 and then continued on to Palm Springs for 1986.

I was not able to get into Rohnert Park Stadium on my 2004 visit. The park was torn down in late 2005 and has been rezoned for commercial development.
