Highways of Passaic County, New Jersey

County Road 683

Passaic County Road 683 is the section of the Newark-Pompton Turnpike between NJ 23 and the Pequannock River.

Until the early 1970s, traffic remaining on the turnpike left NJ 23 via a traffic circle. The various circles on the road were removed, one by one, during that decade. Now, traffic uses an overpass to get to the old road.
