Passaic County Road 678 is Jackson Avenue in Wayne. Its course has changed slightly at its east end, thanks to realignment at the Hamburg Turnpike. The road features a very shady, winding section in the middle, near Smith Lane. When I was on the road in November 2009, it appeared not to have been paved in about 15 years.
