Highways of Passaic County, New Jersey

County Road 604

Passaic County Road 604 is the shortest county-maintained road.

Lindsley Road begins at Main Street in Little Falls and heads east. A mere 250 feet into its course, it reaches the Essex County line, where it becomes maintained by that county, also as CR 604.

If one stays on Lindsley Road, one will re-enter Little Falls, but there the road becomes CR 612. Why the CR 604 designation is not retained on that side of town, even though the street has a different name, is beyond me. Then again, Passaic County has no signs for its highway, anyhow.

Mile Street Name Feature (West to East)
0.00 CR 604 BEGINS, Little Falls Twp
0.00 Lindsley Rd Main St, CR 631
0.05 CR 604 ENDS, Little Falls Twp
Entering North Caldwell Boro, Essex Co.
